[TRIBTUE] The guys from Led Zeppelin may not be reuniting anytime soon, but that doesn’t mean you won’t get your fill.
[JAM] This Saturday, March 7, Nietzsche’s will play host to a few up and coming bands that have been hitting the local scene hard as of late.
[ROCK] If Darwin had his hand in music, maybe he could’ve foresaw the evolution of a tribute or cover band.
[FUNK] If you didn’t catch The Nth Power back in September of this past year at The Tralf, you missed out on a display of some incredible musicianship.
[TRIBUTE] Sublime helped bring ska punk into the forefront in the 1990s before the death of lead singer Bradley Nowell. With songs like “Santeria” and “What I Got,” the band’s influence stretched from their roots in California across the world.
[JAM] You could argue that just about nobody in the jam scene has made a quicker ascent than Dopapod who got their start in the Northeast.
[ROCK] Making the list of “Best Selling Music Artists” is a feat every artist strives for, or at least used to. Back when selling music meant something, album sales were the benchmark for success.
[VIDEO GAME MUSIC] For any kid that grew up in the 1980s or 1990s, the music of video games was everywhere. From arcades to home systems, hearing a particular theme song now can bring you right back.
[FUNK] The Heavy Pets are a perfect blend of all that’s right in music. The Pets stand firmly on a rock base, but add touches of blues, soulful funk, reggae, and jam to make music that can put a smile on anyone’s face.
[ROCK] Tim Reynolds should be a familiar face to many Buffalonians. As the lead guitarist of the Dave Matthews Band, Reynolds has been making stops in the Queen City every summer for quite some time.
