[PARTY] Did you know that buffaBLOG’s very first post (March 28, 2010) covered a Passion Pit concert at the Rapids Theatre? Or that the founding writers are all graduates of Amherst High School? Or that the blog’s most trafficked post up to date is a post on Rihanna (yes, Rihanna: “Could Rihanna be the Biggest Pop Star Ever”)? Well, if you didn’t know, now you know. Altogether, buffaBLOG has come a long way since its humble origins and the blog’s fifth anniversary happens to be right around the corner. To celebrate its inception, the blog will be throwing its annual birthday party this Saturday, March 28, at Nietzsches. As usual, some favorites have been invited to play: Buffalo’s classic surf-rock outfit Wooden Waves, hearty indie-folk quartet Applennium, Utica’s Comfy, slack rockers Difficult Night, and up and coming garage-shredders M.A.G.S. Come celebrate as buffaBLOG turns five and experience some of the finest acts to come out of Western New York.
