Canalside Ghost Walk

[TOUR] During the War of 1812, the British torched the city of Buffalo, and where there’s mass bloodshed, there are ghost stories—their validity irrelevant to their prevalence. The Buffalo Naval Park on Canalside is home to two World War II destroyers and a guided missile cruiser—all of which are allegedly hot spots for paranormal activity. As if war-stained neighborhoods and ancient battleships weren’t enough, the Seneca Nation, which “represents the spiritual bedrock of our region,” according to paranormal author and folklorist, Mason Winfield, have their own set of supernatural folklore. To learn more about Buffalo’s urban legends, folklore, and ghost sightings, check out Canalside Ghost Walk this Friday, May 29 hosted by Buffalo History Tours, in partnership with Mason Winfield’s Haunted Ghost Tours
