[CLASSICAL] This weekend’s Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra is perfect for a region finally shucking off the coils of winter: Beethoven’s Symphony No. 6, the “Pastoral,” alongside Honneger’s Pastoral d’ete, then topped off with solo violinist Benjamin Beilman in Saint-Saens’s Violin Concerto No. 3. Beilman, just 25 years old, is a rising star; you’ll want to say you saw him in his youth. The conductor this weekend is John Axelrod. There are two shows at Kleinhans: Saturday at 8pm and Sunday at 2:30pm.
