[ROCK] Virginia jolt rockers, Gang of Thieves will be stopping Nietzsche’s this Saturday, January 31 as part of a winter tour in support of their album their latest album Thunderfunk, recorded in Berkeley California by Grammy award engineer Michael Rosen. Inspired by the legacy of hard-hitting heavyweights such as Led Zeppelin and Red Hot Chili Peppers, the six-piece outfit, which includes a violinist and a trombonist, forges an amplified live energy that has been said to “steal the ability to stand still.” Local indie groups Mr. Boneless and Folkfaces are set to open.
