[ART] Playing on and perhaps previewing WNY’s beloved biennial by a similar name, the Amid/In show is curated by Hallwalls’ John Massier in collaboration with Kyle Butler and Rebecca Wing. It’s as much of curatorial experiment as it is an artistic one, and they plan on doing it again in March, May, September, and November this year. It’s a pleasant deviation and complement to the solo or double-feature shows the space lends itself well to.
