Artists Seen: Laura Duquette

Laura Duquette is an art director and designer. Born Laura Sargent in Lockport, she attended Buffalo State College and graduated with a B.S. in Metals in 2008. She is the co-owner of the Lockport-based company 12 Grain Design & Illustration Studio with her husband, Matt Duquette. Their clients include the UB College of Arts & Sciences and the UB School of Social Work, GOBike Buffalo, and the West Side Bazaar; from 2007 to 2009 they edited an arts-themed webzine called The Artery. Artists Seen: Photographs of Artists in the 21st Century is an ongoing project by photographer David Moog in partnership with the Burchfield Penney Art Center at SUNY Buffalo State.
