[ROCK] Surviving Friday has become a staple on Buffalo’s bar circuit as a covers collective of between three and five people, emerging from the embers of frontman Justin Marcheson’s previous outfit, Monkey Missile, which also specialized in covers. Marcheson and company put an engaging, indie-acoustic spin on a heap of Beatles classics alongside fun, bar sing-along faves like “Ice, Ice Baby” and the Romantics’ “What I Like About You.” Friday, March 13 at Gypsy Parlor.
