[FUNK] The Heavy Pets are a perfect blend of all that’s right in music. The Pets stand firmly on a rock base, but add touches of blues, soulful funk, reggae, and jam to make music that can put a smile on anyone’s face. Popular in jam circles, the guys call Florida home, but since 2005 have made their name at every popular festival across the country. The band has played Bonnaroo and All Good to Catskill Chill and their own festival called PetZoo. The world of live music is clearly where they shine. This Saturday, February 21, the band will play at Buffalo Iron Works with local favorites Brown Sugar.
