[FUNK] The Soul Rebels are an explorative brass band straight out of New Orleans who touch on a wide array of styles. Incorporating everything from jazz to hip hop, the band has in parallel shared the stage with a healthy mix of musicians – from Kanye West to the Allman Brothers. Next Wednesday, June 17, the Soul Rebels will take the stage at Buffalo Iron Works. Opening the night will be The Rockaz—a Buffalo band that mixes similar sounds of reggae, funk, ska and hip hop.
