[FUNK] Kung Fu and Twiddle are two of the biggest up-and-comers in the funk and jam scenes respectively. Both hail from the Northeast, have cut their teeth on the summer festival circuit, and have toured extensively in the last few years. The pair are joining forces for a slew of shows—the Dirty Dozen Tour a reference to the number of dates—that kicks off in Buffalo next Wednesday, April 1, at Buffalo Iron Works. The bands will not announce who is taking the opening and headlining sets on any given night, fans will simply have to plan on heading to the venue early to catch the surprise. The two bands are even talking about doing some collaborating and swapping members, so fans might see part of one band joined by part of the other. The surprise factor has a lot of people talking and it’ll certainly make for some interesting musical mash ups and collaborations unique to each show.
