[PUNK] Under a new label and fresh off a three-month hiatus, experimental punk band I Set My Friends on Fire are ready to rock out. Performing at Mohawk Place this Saturday, January 7, the Miami-based band is sure to belt out some fan favorites like “Things that Rhyme with Orange,” or their MySpace breakout cover “Soulja Boy.” Though the duo gained their popularity back in 2008, they have traveled extensively on tour. You can expect some new material, as they’ve just released a new single, “My Uzi Holds a Hundred Round Conscience” from their highly anticipated album dropping next summer. Also sharing the stage is Lockport-based metalcore band, A Rose Among the Ashes and Buffalo-based death metal band Inertia.
