[LIT] If you didn’t get your tickets to one of the three Every Time I Die holiday shows coming up this weekend, well then you’re out of luck because they’re completely sold out and they’re usually the best shows of the year. But, whether you got tickets or not, you can still meet Every Time I Die frontman, columnist, and now, author, Keith Buckley, when he does a special signing of his new book, Scale, at Talking Leaves on Monday, December 21 from 4pm to 6pm. “I didn’t really decide to start writing [Scale], it kind of decided for me,” Buckley told The Public in an interview last year. “I thought I would put out a bunch of short stories myself, but I was just looking for something to keep me active because I just saw myself drinking too much and sleeping too long. It was a dark time. I had to do something positive. I started going through all of my stuff and finding these little stories I had written and I kinda realized, thematically, there was stuff that tied together.” Now, nearly four years after Buckley began writing his first novel, Scale is on the shelves. If you haven’t found something for your punk-rock-loving  brother or sister, or maybe the nephew or neice who loves Charles Bukowski, then this might be a good opportunity to get a really special gift.
