[FOLK] Buffalo has always been an underground hotbed for music. We may not show up on the stat sheet like an Austin, Texas or New York City, but the quality of our talent is equal nonetheless; just simply not as exposed. This Friday, November 28 two unique acts will be showcasing their craft at the Ninth Ward. Jen Whitmore is a contemporary folk singer; utilizing a soft, underlying melody to contrast the reality of her lyrics. Balancing out the night are The Observers who have a down-to-earth, honest approach to their sound as well. Their blend of folk and Americana is crafted together between the various musicians in the most organic way. The combination of the two acts will be a real treat for all in attendance, just make sure you prep for a night that will certainly move your soul.
