[RAGE] A few local musicians are so raged up about the “disappointing or devastating news” this election might bring, that they’ve teamed up for a one night only set of Rage Against the Machine tunes this Election Night, Tuesday, November 8 at Mohawk Place. The band, dubbed the Buffalo Rage Ensemble features notable local musicians Dan Ross, Aaron Blackmon, Jim Candytree, and Matthew Crane, barking out RATM hits like “Bulls on Parade,” “Killing in the Name,” and others. “Its a one off gig for us so I tried to think if the most absurd thing to call a Rage cover band, something pretentious and goofy, so The Buffalo Rage Ensemble is what we’re calling ourselves,” says bassist Matthew Crane. The show will also feature Buffalo’s Rear View Ramblers, Kerry Fey, Evan Thompson, and DJ Drop D  between bands and closing out the night. A final message from the promoters: “Come Rage at the Hawk after casting your ballot for our next President and party like it’s the end of the world. Because you never know.”
