[PUNK] Chuck Mosley has been the frontman of two popular bands—first the alternative rock band Faith No More, from 1983 to 1988, and then of the pioneering punk band Bad Brains from 1990 to 1992. Though he wasn’t the most famous singer of either band, he brought his own distinct brand of punk rock energy to both groups. Since then he’s performed in and launched a variety of projects including the funk-metal band Cement, and V.U.A. (later known as Chuck Mosley and VUA). VUA’s debut record Will Rap Over Hard Rock For Food was released in 2009 and features guest appearances by a slew of nu-metal artists including Jonathan Davis of Korn. When he comes to Mohawk Place on Thursday, October 5, he’ll do so as part of a four piece band that will perform a “stripped down distorted acoustic” set. Support comes from Ben Trickey, No Prevail, and Bank Noise.
