Sleepy Hahas
[INDIE] Buffalo indie music stalwarts Sleep Hahas will play their final show on Saturday, August 20 at Mohawk Place. After six years on the scene, the band, drummer Steve Tripi, bassist Mo Halliday, keyboardist Phil Shore, and guitarist/vocalist Pat Butler will hang it up, but not before one last blast. Not only will this be the band’s last show, but it will also be a celebration of their new album, From the Bottom of a Warm Lake, which was just released on August 16. Last month, the band released the first single from the record, “En Passant,” a jangly indie-rock track which was paired with a melancholy, yet uplifting music video. Their final show will include cuts from the new record as well as a career spanning selection of songs from all of their previous records. They’ll be joined by a stacked line up of Buffalo bands including Deadwolf, Space Cubs, Bearhunter, and a light show by Lesionread.
