[ROCK] The Tea Party’s compelling rock execution has allowed the Canadian trio to maintain their signature sound despite their penchant for experimenting with new influences, from industrial and psychopop to hard and vintage rock. After a nine-year hiatus, they reemerged in 2014 with The Ocean at the End. From stripped-down songs like “The Black Sea” and “Submission” to the Zeppelin-esque guitar strumming and build-up of songs like “The L.o.C.” and “The 11^th Hour,” the musicianship is tight, and the exotic rock elements still boast the earth roots of rock.
