[ROCK] Dee Adams and Her Band will be performing for The Elmwood Village Picnic in the Parkway session this Tuesday, July 19. Adam’s material covers topics for the heart and the mind in an earthy style reminiscent of Dylan and Sheryl Crow as she sings about gun control and nature. Adams toured with The Roadtrippers in 2003 and her rich, jazzy vocals and lyrics have earned the singer several songwriting awards. She was named Top Solo Acoustic Act for the Buffalo Music Awards in 2005 for her socially conscious lyrics that have found their way as the prominent feature of her rock band. The show starts at 7pm at Bidwell Parkway at the corner of Elmwood.
