[PSYCHEDELIC] Existing at the intersection of psychedelic rock, blues, and stoner rock, All Them Witches make heady music for heady times. Like a acid-soaked epiphany, the Nashville-based band toys with their listeners emotions moving from gnarly rock to moody stoner slow jams, and out into the cosmos, especially on their latest album, Sleeping Through the War. It’s not just background music for a bong rip, though, as the incredibly complex album merits multiple listens in multiple states of mind. Though they’ve only been active since 2012, the band has released five studio records—including their debut Our Mother Electricity—three EPs, and two live albums, all packed with fuzzy, vivid psychedelic rock. Wade through the fuzz with All Them Witches this Sunday, June 11 at Mohawk Place with support from like-minded Buffalo-based stoner rock band Handsome Jack.
