If you haven’t heard of the rapper/comedian, the backstory is just as interesting as his success. Starting in advertising, Lil Dicky (real name David Burd) amassed a collection of 32 songs before strategically releasing them once a week for five months straight. His first video, titled “Ex-Boyfriend,” received a million hits within 24 hours of its release. His business acumen is just as sharp as his rap game. With a comical spin, the rapper focuses on the everyday hilarity of life while still keeping the structure of his rhymes complex. This Friday, May 29, Lil Dicky comes to the Town Ballroom with opener ProbCase.
