[ROCK] A true Buffalo original, Lazlo Hollyfeld creates heady sonic textures that blend melodies built from vintage synths, breezy guitar lines and the occasional vibraphone cameo, often set to rhythmically challenging beats that are spiked with lots of percussive doodads. The results are delightfully hypnotic, but the jazzy timing will keep you on your toes—and there aren’t any lyrics to muddy the music, either.
