[POP] Head to Studio at Waiting Room this Thursday evening to experience the raw stage presence of Flint Eastwood, a.k.a. Jax Anderson. The indie-rock project calls up hints of Metric or the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, if commissioned to create a soundtrack for a spaghetti western. Anderson’s fervent vocals coalesce with melodic guitars, pounding rhythms, and spine tingling intensity to create heroine anthems beaming with desert swagger. This band is definitely one to witness live, especially considering four-member, Philadelphia dream-pop outfit CRUISR will be featured alongside. Buffalo’s Voices and SHEDS are set to open.
