[PUNK] The “Reverend” Jim Heath makes his way through Buffalo once a year or so, leading his cow-punk trio with equal parts earnest vigor and tongue-in-cheek amusement. If you’ve been before than you know what to expect, but the rest of the bill makes this a must-see: Unknown Hinson (the voice of Early Cuyler on Adult Swim’s Squidbillies) is a smart, sarcastic bastard of a songwriter (and one odd dude, but that’s part of the fun)… be sure to request ”Your Man is Gay.” Also on board is Nashville Pussy, bringing plenty of depraved energy and some seriously impressive guitar work from Ruyter Suys. They come to the Tralf this Friday, April 29. Be on time for the honky tonk sounds of Lucky Tubb in the early slot.
