[BATTLE] On Friday, April 24, WBNY will hold an all genres battle of the bands at Buffalo Iron Works. Six finalists have been chosen from the pool of submissions to perform in front of the judges (yours truly, Jeff Miers of the Buffalo News, and promoter Marty Boratin). Now for the fun part: The first place band will win five hours of studio time at GCR recording studio and a $70 gift certificate to Allentown Music. Second place will win screen printing services and a $50 gift certificate to Spiral Scratch Records. Third place will win a photo session with the one and only Nico and a $50 gift certificate to Black Dots record store.
