[BLUES] If the blues were a person, they’d be the history teacher who speaks with fierce passion and pride. Joe Louis Walker is an elder blues statesman, and in the same vein, carries with him the purveyors with whom he’s shared the stage with over the years. From John Lee Hooker to Muddy Waters, Walker exudes the pure essence of what the blues means. This Thursday, April 23, he will take the stage at Buffalo Iron Works with special guests the Steepwater Band.
