[BLUES] Since 2005, with every new release, Eilen Jewell continues to solidify her capacity for working with multiple genres from gospel to Americana. She veers towards a spaghetti-Western vibe with her latest single, “Rio Grande,” featuring flamenco-style guitar strumming, triumphant mariachi trumpet lines, and of course, Jewell’s smoking, commanding vocals.
