[FUNK] Big Mean Sound Machine is a band whose name perfectly sums up their forceful sound. The group is made up of about ten members, including a full brass section, and plays music which embodies funk, dance, and afrobeat at its core. The band puts on a show that”l leave you full of sweat, as the music has a way of naturally putting bodies in motion. Big Mean Sound Machine takes the stage at the Waiting Room this Saturday, April 4 with support from Jamestown’s funkiest, Smackdab, and the Intrepid Travelers.
