[ROCK] This Saturday, collective art-space Sugar City will be hosting a release party for JOHNS in celebration of their highly anticipated debut album, Grift Marks (Peterwalkee Records). The dynamic five-piece outfit have been active in the city’s music scene for over two years, wreaking havoc and channeling a rather catchy and disheveled brand of garage rock that could aptly be mistaken for brooding sorcery, in the most exquisite sense possible. Set to accompany the lineup are a host of musical kin, Newish Star, Fleshy Mounds, and Space Wolves. Furthermore an after party with ABCDJ will take place across the street at Resurgence Brewing Company.
