[MUSIC, well mostly…] If you dig the casual yet ambitious brilliance of Buffalo’s uniquely communal art scene, you dig the Buffalo Infringement Festival and you will dig the fundraiser the committee has cooked up this Friday Night at Mohawk Place. Calling the lineup “eclectic” does a disservice to the dictionary, there’s everything from dance-rock, to klezmer, to burlesque, and back out to visual art on two stages: Nine Layers Deep, Malarchuk, Hooked on Casiophonics, Margot Kisiel, Bill Nehill, Ahavaraba, Kerry Fey, The Zombettes, Buffalo Burlesque Collective, and visuals by FLATSITTER. The cover is five bucks, it goes towards funding the summer’s premier cultural event, and if you don’t get your money’s worth, well then there’s just no saving your soul.
