[HIP HOP] Buffalo MC, Frigid Giant, will be at Mohawk Place this Friday, March 17. Inspired by lyrical giants like Wu-Tang Clan and Rakim, Frigid Giant, a hip hop wordsmith, emphasizes his sound with a tactful flow. Having toured much of the Midwest and Northeast opening for rappers like Wiz Khalifa and Logic, this rapper is sure to be a treat. Also sharing the stage is the vivacious collective Koolie High. Repping Buffalo’s inner city, the seven-part group highlights their sound as the perfect balance of mainstream and underground hip hop. Taking influences from groups like TDE and  A Tribe called Quest the fun loving “Kool Kids” take the pressure off having a good time. Also be sure to look out for the “boom, bap” duo Chronic Collective and MCKP.
