[ELECTRONIC/DANCE] Hailing from Denver, Michael Travis and Jason Hann (members of The String Cheese Incident) conceived of EOTO (End of Time Observatory) in 2006. With Hann on drums and Travis improvising on everything from guitar to synths, their dubstep-dance grooves, laden with space funky vibes, have been a pioneering force in the rise of EDM culture. Wobbly dubstep spurts burst through layers of high-energy rhythms and icy synths send their audience into a fuel-injected frenzy on albums like their debut, Elephants Only Talk Occasionally, and 2009’s Fire The Lazers!!!.
