[TRANSMEDIA] Squeaky Wheel is hosting a special appearance by Montreal-based artist Skawennati who will be presenting her her award-winning transmedia piece TimeTraveller™ (2008–2013) this Sunday. Created and shot in the virtual world of Second Life, this machinima video series re-imagines the history of colonization from the point of view of native peoples in a science-fiction future. Hailing from the Kahnawake Mohawk reserve in Quebec, Two Row Times has called her arguably “the most instrumental Haudenosaunee person bringing an Indigenous perspective to the forefront of multimedia and popular culture.”
