[JAM] When most people think of Buffalo and its role in music, names like the Goo Goo Dolls and Rick James come up out of sheer record sales and pop culture reputability. If you focus on general genres though, you could argue Buffalo’s biggest contribution has come in the form of the jam band moe.. In the jam band world, there are few in the circle outside of Phish that have a bigger draw. The boys got their humble start at the University at Buffalo and Broadway Joe’s, but this Friday and Saturday, January 23 and 24, they will take the stage for a two night stint at the Town Ballroom, kicking off their latest tour and giving their hometown fans first crack at soaking in the improvising prowess. Two-night tickets are available, and worth it, as the two shows will likely be drastically different with few repeats.
