Women's Resistance Revival Chorus

[RESIST] In celebration of the one-year anniversary of the Women’s March on Washington, and as part of M&T’s Second Friday series, the Burchfield Penney Art Center presents the Women’s Resistance Revival Chorus directed by Buffalo-based singer, songwriter Drea D’Nur. The event will feature a community chorus of more than 20 amature and professional women singers, assembled earlier in the week, who will perform pop-up musical performances throughout the gallery. They’ll sing songs of resistance from Marvin Gaye’s “What’s Goin On” to political activist Anne Feeney’s “The Rich Man’s House.” This Friday, January 12 starting at 6:30pm at the Burchfield Penney Art Center.
