[POP] If you trust Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s musical taste, then add this Neon Dreams show to your list of things to check out this weekend. Being included on the politician’s summer Spotify playlist must have been a fun moment for the four piece band from Halifax, but it’s not their only claim to fame. They’ve been showered with praises from the Canadian press as a young band to watch—a pop phenomenon waiting to happen. Kind of a 21st century version of a boy band, the four piece band plays their own instruments and craft mainstream pop-styled tunes and pseudo EDM bangers. Catch them at the Town Ballroom’s Leopard Lounge on Saturday, January 13.
