[HOLIDAY] Thin Man Brewery is throwing a huge holiday-themed outdoor street festival this weekend with a couple of bands and a lot of beer. They’ll close down a section of Elmwood Avenue for this one–their first Christmas themed street party.
[PUNK] Boston-based ska-punk band Big D and the Kids Table are still rocking, led by founding member, vocalist and guitarist David McWane. The 42-year-old ska-punker leads his 11-piece band, which includes a trio of back up singers, during the band’s high energy live shows.
[ROCK] The Kerfuffle Before Christmas, Alternative Buffalo’s annual holiday concert shindig, returns this year with a loaded lineup for a two day celebration at Buffalo RiverWorks.

[INDIE] Sugar City is the place to be this weekend if you’re looking for something heavy, fun, and noisy. Four-piece experimental rock band, Crystallized, comes in from Petersburg, Florida for this one to deliver their electronic-tinged noise rock.
[HIP HOP] Hip hop returns to Nietzche’s for this event featuring a bunch of rising Buffalo-based artists. Hip hop trio, 14 Trapdoors, featuring members Bendyface, Short Moscato, and Wza, take the top slot. They’ll be joined by Medusa, Chill Ali, Little Cake, and The League.
