[COUNTRY] An old-school gem amid the tide of commercial country bilge clogging the airwaves and winning TV contests of late, Dale Watson is mighty refreshing with his high white pompadour and silver-tongued baritone.

[PUNK] Floridian quartet Against Me! has survived for nearly two decades on the fringes of punk—first as an indie band, followed by a stint on Sire and some chart success, and now as purveyors of their own label and studio, Total Treble, converted from a former post office.
