Artists Seen: Jennifer Koury

Jennifer Koury is a Buffalo-based watercolorist, freelance illustrator, and arts educator. She holds degrees in painting and printmaking from Virginia Commonwealth University and the Art Center College of Design, California. Koury has exhibited her paintings in both solo and group shows, and her work is featured at George Washington’s Mount Vernon and Yuma Regional Medical Center in Arizona. Her illustrations appear in many children’s books as well as volumes for adults. She has taught several workshops on watercolor technique. Artists Seen: Photographs of Artists in the 21st Century is an ongoing project by photographer David Moog in partnership with the Burchfield Penney Art Center at SUNY Buffalo State.
