Peter Fleischmann is a Western New York-based non-profit administrator and arts advocate. Early in his career he was involved in establishing an innovative “JazzMobile” program in Buffalo, which brought jazz musicians into area neighborhoods for public performances. Since 1982, he has served as director and CEO of the Foundation for Jewish Philanthropies. Under his leadership, the assets of the organization have grown from less than $1 million to more than $100 million. Fleischmann is a longtime board member and past board president of the Burchfield Penney Art Center. For more information on his career, visit burchfieldpenney.org.

Artists Seen: Photographs of Artists in the 21st Century is an ongoing project by photographer David Moog in partnership with the Burchfield Penney Art Center at SUNY Buffalo State.
