This monthly gay-guy/gay-girl happy hour is an informal networking event — no business card exchanges, no dues, no cover — held at a different local restaurant every time. Simply come, relax and enjoy. Complimentary buffet.

Out photographer Brandon Blount showcases a collection of real people from the real world and all walks of life placed in nature as nature intended. Artist reception as part of First Fridays Allentown Gallery Walk. Exhibition on view through July 31.

 SATURDAY JULY 11 
Bear Night
10 p.m. – 2 a.m. at Ohm Ultra Lounge, 948 Main St.

Show off that body hair at the biggest and burliest party in Allentown, hosted by the Buffalo Bears following the group’s monthly meeting. This month’s theme is Hawaiian Shirt Night. Cover: $2.

 SUNDAY JULY 12 
Post-Game Softball Party
4:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. at Loop Magazine, 224 Allen St.

Join Queen City Softball League players for a backyard party after the day’s games at the La Salle Park diamonds. Doors open at 3:30 p.m. with a cash bar and light hors d’oeuvres. DJ Charles Master spins the beats starting at 5:30 p.m. Dinner is served at 6 p.m. First drink and food on the house for uniformed players. VIP: $5.
