Artists Seen: Jim Bush

Jim Bush is an internationally established commercial photographer who was born in Buffalo. He studied engineering at the New York Institute of Technology and is self-taught in photography and cinematography. He has been affiliated with the faculty of the UB Department of Theater and Dance since 2010, and teaches lighting workshops for photography students at Buffalo State College. Bush’s media work has earned him first place awards for dramatic and experimental projects in the 2014 and 2015 NCCC Video Festivals respectively. Artists Seen: Photographs of Artists in the 21st Century is an ongoing project by photographer David Moog in partnership with the Burchfield Penney Art Center at SUNY Buffalo State.
