by / May. 29, 2019 4pm EST
Looking for something interesting for your tweens and teens to do this summer while sharpening their digital media skills? Hilbert College is offering summer film and journalism camps where campers will write, shoot and edit their own short films and news stories. The film camp – July 8 – 12 – will teach campers to write scripts, scout locations, use professional film and audio equipment while putting together shorts. At journalism camp – July 15 – 19 — campers will talk with professional reporters from print, radio and TV and interview athletes and public figures, using professional video and audio equipment to compile reports. Friends and family are invited to view campers’ work on the final day of each camp.

Sign up on or before May 31 to take advantage of the early bird special of $190 for each camp. The price is $225 from June 1 to June 15, when registration closes. Campers ages 12 – 18 are welcome.
