[EMO] Two solo artists known for their work in popular emo rock bands come to Babeville’s 9th Ward this Wednesday, March 22. Dan Andriano, bassist and vocalist of pop punk band Alkaline Trio will be joined by Get Up Kids frontman Matt Pryor, presented by DSP Shows. The tour features both musicians performing their solo material. Andriano, who sometimes performs under the name Dan Andriano in the Emergency Room, has released a couple of albums, most recently Party Adjacent, which came out in 2015. Pryor is no stranger to solo performances and recordings either, having released several solo albums through out his career, in between albums with The Get Up Kids and Reggie and the Full Effect. His latest is this year’s Memento Mori, a heartbreaking and brutally honest solo record that is nonetheless beautiful. Local singer/songwriter Chelsea O’Donnell opens the show.
