[TRIBUTE] Maynard Keenan has been promising a new Tool album for nearly a decade now, but the followup to 2006’s 10,000 Days proves elusive.  Keenan may even have alienated some fans by calling Tool fanatics “insufferable” in an interview not that long ago, something he has insisted was taken out of context—it takes a huge Tool to diss the folks that paid for your Vineyards, Maynard, and that’s not a backhanded compliment. Whatever the case, local 1990s rock aficionados Kurt and the Loders are putting on their (huge) Tool costumes for us while we wait for that mythical new record, channeling Maynard and company the night after Thanksgiving at Buffalo Iron Works. Need more to be thankful about? Rage Against the Machine tribute Anger Is a Gift will open the show. Come grit your teeth and thrash your head around Friday, November 25.
