[DRINK] Bloody Mary fans rejoice, this party is for you. Local picklery Barrel + Brine will celebrate the release of their handcrafted bloody mary mix on Sunday, August 21 at, where else but a vodka factory. Lockhouse Distillery, supposedly the first distillery to open in Buffalo since Prohibition is the natural choice for a bloody mary party, and they’ll be serving three specialty drinks: the Pizza Lovers which is made with vodka, mozzarella, basil, and garnished with a pepperoni stick; the Mary’s Garden which consists of Lockhouse vodka, rosemary, cucumber, sweet pepper, Barrel + Brine dilly beans, and pearl onions; and finally, the Barreled Bloody, barrel aged gin, molasses bacon rim, pepperoncini, celery, and chives. Or you can make a bloody mary of your own design at the Barrel + Brine Bloody Mary garnish bar.
