[ELECTRONIC/DANCE] For this edition of Strange Allure, the monthly-ish underground techno dance party, the collective will welcome a couple of up-trending DJs from Detroit. Both artists, Erika and BMG, are integral parts of the Detroit-based label Interdimensional Transmissions—a deeply strange techno label that has, for its 20-odd years of existence, focused on cryptic symbology and metaphysical experiences. As founder of the label, BMG brings his form of “pure transcendent psychedelic wizardry” (as described in his bio on the IDT website) to his audiences, seamlessly mashing genres together, while Erika concentrates on the universe of analogue hardware in her arsenal. Erika and BMG will set up at an as of yet undisclosed location for the next edition of Strange Allure on Saturday, June 18.
