[INDIE] Thanks in part to some decent rotation on Twin Cities radio outlet The Current and an appearance on Conan, Hippo Campus has considerably raised their profile just barely three years out of high school. The quartet’s jangle-pop shimmers with infectious riffs and insightful writing well beyond their years, which can be clearly heard on the single “South.” They’ll play the Leopard Lounge at Town Ballroom on Tuesday, June 7 with Oketo and American Low.
