[HIP HOP] Ever hear of a group by the name of Mobb Deep? How about the rapper Busta Rhymes? Or even the “Smooth Operator” himself Big Daddy Kane? Well, on Saturday, February 6,  a legendary underground rapper and producer who influenced all those artists and more, Large Professor, will be spitting bars of flame all night long at Duke’s Bohemian Grove Bar as part of their Legends of Hip Hop series. Large Professor aka Large Pro started off his career in 1989 by joining the famous rap group Main Source. From there he made a name for himself and has influenced a number of different artists that are around today. ”Mr. Illmatic,” Nas, even considers him a mentor. Saturday night will be an opportunity to see an artist who you don’t see in every day’s headlines, but is one of the most significant hip hop icons in the game today. Entertainment starts at 10pm with beats by Milk & Cochise, the Incredible Scott Down and DJ Dovey.
