[HOLIDAY MARKET] If you’re looking for something truly unique to gift this season, think about heading downtown over the weekend. The Western New York Book Arts Center is hosting its Last Minute Panic Holiday Marketplace with a host of unique, quality handmade goods from housewares, knitwear, and jewelry to hand-printed greeting cards & posters. For this year’s installment, visitors will be able to enter WNYBAC’s basement print shop for a print-your-own holiday card workshop for a suggested donation of $1 per print. If you’re a reader of our paper, then you’re familiar with the work that WNYBAC does: Last week’s cover and this week’s centerfold feature work that WNYBAC has either been exhibited or produced at the center. So don’t miss the market, around 50 vendors will be selling their wares on Friday from 4-8pm and again on Saturday from 12-6pm.
